For almost forty years, Benanti has been a pillar of Etna’s rich winemaking history and continues to lead the region’s evolution today. Right from the beginning, the mission was to pursue excellence by extracting the full potential of Etna’s terroir and native grapes.
Current winery owners Antonio and Salvino Benanti took over from their father Giuseppe in 2012, marking the beginning of an era of further strategic investments and the adoption of an even more focused approach to all areas of the winery’s value chain: vineyard management, vinification, research, market development, education and hospitality.
In 2022, Benanti welcomes a new chapter in its long and prestigious history by entering into partnership with Brave Wine, the wine holding company founded by Renzo Rosso. A step that will allow a new entrepreneurial perspective and a renewed commitment to quality and sustainability.
Benanti is not simply a winery, but a living chapter in the history of Etna, a place where every bottle tells a story of terroir, tradition and passion.
